"A certain time of year the sun will set at the perfect angel and illuminate the Kjerag mountain wall and the raging waterfall in luminescent orange and red, resembeling a wall of molten lava. As the light catches the water it creates a glowing, fiery phenomen.

I used various visual elements-elements of design; line, shape, color, texture, pattern, form and space to create an optical illusion of the Greek god Zeus lighting bolt.

In ancient Greek Religion, Zeus was the chief deity of the pantheon, a sky and weather god who was identical with the Roman god Jupiter. He was regarded as the sender of thunder and lightning, rain, and winds, and his traditional weapon was the thunderboldt. He was often referred to as the "Father of Gods and men".

"As an artist I am Compelled to create images that provoke an experiential reaction from the viewers, but also to reveal the fragility and grandiose nature of landscapes; I aim to capture a mixture of the sublime together with the fragility of the environment at the hands of thehuman exploitation.

My work is celebratory by design and creates an intimate storyline with the underlying message that beauty can only be comprehended with the contrast of decay or destruction. I aim to pose questions, to reveal both beauty and loss
